POONCH, Apr 6: The police today recovered a young girl who had been allegedly kidnapped by a youth from Mendhar area few months back.
On the basis of complaint lodged by family members of the girl, the police registered a case FIR No. 87/ 2015 but it remained clueless for long. Later, on the basis of some inputs provided by the family members, the police party led by Head Constable Bashir Ahmed under the supervision of SHO Poonch Jatinder Raina recovered the girl from Janipur area of Jammu today.
The police after the completion of legal formalities handed over the girl to the family. The accused Mohd Safeer, son of Mohd Rafiq, resident of Mendhar however, could not be arrested.
