Nagrota Youngster Eagles seal berth in finals

BAJALTA, Apr 8: In the second semi-final of Maruti Suzuki Nagrota Premier League Tournament, an initiative of MLA Devender Singh Rana, Nagrota Youngster Eagles today defeated Kapotha Lions and entered into the finals.
Winning the toss at Bajalta playfield in the Nagrota Assembly Constituency, Kapotha Lions decided to field first.
Put into bat, Nagrota Youngster Eagles scored 184 runs for the loss of 10 wickets in 20 overs. Lucky Sharma was the top scorer with 79 runs of 59 balls with 6 sixes and five boundaries, while Rahul Singh scored 33 runs of 18 balls.
Chasing the target, Kapotha Lions managed to score 141 runs only after losing 9 wickets in allotted 20 overs, thus lostthe match by 43 runs. Ajay Singh scored 56 runs, while Avinash contributed 24 runs. Lucky Sharma for his brilliant 79 runs was declared as man of the match .
The match was officiated by Saleem-ur-Rehman, Sadiq Hussain and Madan Mohan from the Department of Youth Services and Sports, J&K.
The matches were played under the overall supervision of Faheem Tak, vice president Take-1 Channel and Kuldeep Singh Jamwal, Member Organizing Committee.
The final will be played between Nagrota Young Stars Eagles and Chak Rakwala Leopards.
