Rajouri, Apr 8: An Inter School Quiz Competition was organized today by the Ace of Spades Division, Rajouri at Raina Auditorium Complex as a precursor for the “Rajouri Day Celebrations”.
Six schools of Rajouri town namely Kendriya Vidyalaya, Delhi Public School, Panorama Public School, Government Girls High School, Government Higher Secondary Girls School Jawahar Nagar and Army Goodwill Public School, Rajouri (J&K) participated with great enthusiasm in the event.
The quiz had a total of six rounds comprising of History of Rajouri, Know your Rajouri, General knowledge, Current Affairs, Audio / Visual round and Science & Technology.
The team of Army Goodwill Public School won the event, while the team of Kendriya Vidyalaya was declared runners-up and Government Higher Secondary Girls School secured the third position.
The competition was aimed to spread awareness about the rich history and cultural heritage of Rajouri and J&K and also to ignite the young minds of the children as part of the Sadbhavana Initiative of the Army.
