JAMMU, Apr 9: Vikas Gupta, son of Vijay Gupta, resident of Bakshi Nagar, Jammu, former outstanding Judoka of J&K State, has been appointed as Manager of the Indian Judo team to participate in the Senior Asian Judi Championship (Individual events) from April 12 to April 17, 2016 at Tashkent in Uzbekistan.
The event is the Olympic qualifying event and Vikas is first Judoka of J&K State who represents Indian team as an official.
Vikas has a reputation of promoting Judo game and Judokas in nooks and corners of the State.
