NEW DELHI, Apr 18: All Parties Migrants Coordination Committee (APMCC) supported by JFKPS organized a unique ‘Shradhanjali’ ceremony at Jantar Mantar and India Gate (Amar Jawan Jyoti) on Sunday evening to pay tributes to the security forces who have laid down their lives in the line of duty while protecting motherland in terror infested Jammu and Kashmir.
The initiative was taken by APMCC, pay homage to the martyrs who sacrifice their lives to protect India from enemies at borders and within Jammu and Kashmir since eruption of terrorism in Kashmir Valley.
APMCC chairman Vinod Pandit had brought blood soaked soil from the recent Pampore encounter site where recently Indian jawans were martyred to offer floral tributes collectively as a mark of respect for the sacrifices of martyrs. But unfortunately the officials did not allow spreading of soil at Amar Jawan Jyoti, hurting the sentiments of peace loving citizens and organizers.
The colourful event at Jantar Mantar today was marked by devotional songs by school children of D.D Blessings School, under the guidance of Anil Takker, chairman of the school. Paying floral tributes on the occasion were Vinod Pandit, Ravinder Pandita, Head of APMCC Delhi-NCR region, Kamal Kishore Sharma Head of JFKPS, King C Bharati, Senior Journalist & National Spokesperson of APMCC and other ex-servicemen and activists of the organization.
Ravinder Pandita said that the culmination of the month long event was to place the blood soaked soil at Amar jawan Jyoti as a mark of respect to our soldiers.
King C Bharati, informed that the soil was brought as a symbol of sacrifice of our security forces to protect the motherland and send a message across the nation and to the families of the martyrs that Indians were united when it comes to nationalism and gratitude for our martyrs.
Prominent among those who attended the function included Parvesh Chowdhary of Akhand Bharat Morcha, Sant Bharti of Sathi Sangathan, Kamal Kumar Jain of Bhartiya Paksh, Pradeep Pandita, Vinod Koul, Pushpinder Kalsotra, senior journalist, Rakesh Dhar, Avtar K Tickoo, Lalit Razdan, Chairman AAA, Yajin Bhat, Manish Zijoo, Veena Pandita, Ravi Regu, Vishal Ji, Raju Kak, BL Wanchoo, Ajay Lidhoo (Shalimar Garden Association), Amit Raina, Des Raj and others.
