JAMMU, Apr 29: A delegation of Federation of Industries, Jammu, under the leadership of Lalit Mahajan, called on Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and discussed with her.
During the course of discussions, Mr Mahajan requested the Chief Minister for extension of Central package of incentives, which included the restoration of 100 percent Central Excise Refund, Extension of Income Tax Holidays, setting up of mother Industry and other issues related to the Industrial Sector, Extension of DIPP Package for the Capital Investment Subsidy, Interest Subsidy and Insurance Subsidy which is going to be expired in June 2017 for the rapid Industrial Growth in the State.
Mehbooba Mufti gave a patient hearing and assured the delegation to provide all sort of support to the Industrial Sector for the rapid Industrial growth in our State. She further informed that the matter has already been taken up with the Central Govt for the extension of Central package of incentives.
