Three arrested for smuggling bovines

JAMMU, May 4: Pallanwala police arrested three persons for smuggling bovine animals.
As per police sources, a team from Pallanwala police post laid a naka at Thandi Choi and intercepted a vehicle bearing registration JKO2BJ-7496.
During checking, police rescued 3 bovine animals and arrested three persons, who have been identified as Suraj Singh, son of Raghunath Singh of Chak Malal, Arjun Singh, son of Ajeet Singh of Matoo and Bishan Lal, son of Mulkh Raj of Matoon.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Khour police station and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Pallanwala police post Vishal Dogra made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Khour SI Mohammad Iqbal Chagatta, SDPO Akhnoor Gurvinder Pal Singh and SP Rural Arun Gupta.
