SAMBA, May 5: The workers of Youth Congress under the leadership of Rajan Sharma its State secretary protested here today against the Union and State Governments for their failure to contain price rise.
The protestors torched the effigy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Addressing the protesters Rajan Sharma said that the NDA Government led by Mr Modi has failed to control over the rates of petroleum products, food items as well as other essential commodities.
He said no change is visible on ground during the last two years of Modi rule and during last two years of his Government the Prime Minister remained on foreign tour for most of the time with the result he failed to fulfill the aspirations of the people and the promises made by him during the elections.
