Employees Federation discusses demands

JAMMU, May 9: The National State Government Employees Federation (JK) in a meeting here, today held under the chairmanship of K K Langer its State president highlighted the various pending demand of State Government and public sector employees.
The demands which were discussed included regularization of daily rated workers after five years service, enhancing the minimum wages to Rs 400 per day for unskilled workers, enhancement of Medical Allowance to Rs 2000 per month, removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre and others, release of 6 percent DA from January 2016 etc.
The Federation has also decided to hold one day conference on May 11 at Brahman Sabha, Parade.
