KATHUA, May 10: Sujanpur TA and FC United Kathua registered wins and sailed into the semis of the ongoing football tournament, being organized by Hiranagar Football Club.
In the first match, Sujanpur TA registered straight 3-0 goals victory over Shaheen FC. Deevesh scored two goals, while Gulzar Singh netted one goal.
In the second match, FC United Kathua thrashed HFC by 6-2 goals and sailed into the semis of the tournament. For FC United Kathua side, Yash, Atin, Abhishak, Prem Parkash, Parveen and Vikram netted the goals. For HFC, Neeraj and Sourav scored the goals.
During the matches, the chief guests were DSP Diwakar Singh and Janak Bharti, while guest of honour was Sohrav Gupta.
The matches were officiated by Sanjay Sharma, Ronie Sharma, Hemant Jasrotia, Rahul Jasrotia and Sachin Khajuria.
In tomorrow quarterfinal fixtures, Param FC A will take on United Punjab A, while Param FC B will lock horns with United Punjab B.
