Srinagar, May 11: Police today said a woman attempted suicide in Budgam district of Central Kashmir.
A police spokesman said in an attempt to end her life, a woman (name withheld) hailing from Habber village of Lassipora area of Budgam district consumed some poisonous substance at her home.
“She was shifted to the hospital for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard,” he added.
