Shaheed Bahadur Singh Samiti to join campaign against drug abuse

SAMBA, May 12: Shaheed Captain Bahadur Singh Samark Samiti today extended full support to Team Jammu in Anti Drugs Bike Rally in district Samba. Avinash Choudhary urged the political parties to join hands to save the society from the drug peddlers.
The Team Jammu is going to organize anti drug bike rally on                    May 15,   which will  start from  Vijaypur  at  8:30 a.m  and will culminate at Samba. Shaheed Captain Bahadur Singh Samark Samiti alongwith its associates and supporters have also given the support to the Team Jammu Anti Drug campaign and assured it that the Samiti will fully support its mission by eradicating the drug menace and save the youth from its clutches.
Mr. Avinash Choudhary social activist, press and publicity secretary of the Samiti while interacting with journalists at Vijaypur said that ghost of the drugs is eating the youths like scorpions. He emphasized that all the leaders of political parties should come forward to enact a law in the coming Assembly session against the drug abuse. He said J&K State is in trouble due to militancy as well as drug abuse. To eradicate the menace of drugs and save the youth from clutches of drug peddlers, the parents, preachers, politicians, police, social organization and teachers can play a vital role. He appealed to the people of Kandi area, border area, citizens of both the towns of Vijaypur, Ramgarh, Samba and its surrounding village to join the bike rally abiding the traffic rules and keeping helmet.
The social activist and Beopar Mandal representatives includes Tinu Gupta, Yugal Mahajan, Vikas Choudhary, Rimpu Jamwal, Bhanu Slathia, Makhnu Slathia were also present in press conference.
