JAMMU, May 13: Nowabad police traced-out a missing minor boy from Channi Himmat.
As per police sources, family members of a boy hailing from Shanker Vihar lodged a complaint with police post Talab Tillo stating that their son namely Abish Hansa had gone to see his class 10th result and did not returned back.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 69/16 under Section 363 RPC was registered at Nowabad police station and manhunt was launched to trace-out the child.
During the course of investigation, a special team was constituted, which traced out the minor from Channi Himmat area.
The minor told police that he ran away towards Punjab after getting dejected due to the poor performance in the class 10th exam, the result of which was declared by JKBOSE recently.
After completing legal formalities, the minor boy was handed over to family members.
Police team headed by Incharge Talab Tillo police post SI Rahul Mahajan traced-out the missing minor under the supervision of SHO Nowabad Inspector Raghubir Singh, SDPO West Sugandha Mahajan and SP City Dr Vinod Kumar.
