JAMMU, May 13: A golfer died due to cardiac arrest at Gold Ground, Sidhra, here today.
As per police sources, a golfer identified as Major Harjeet Singh Sawhney, son of Harbans Singh Sawhney, a resident of Gandhi Nagar was playing his game at Gold Ground, Sidhra, when he suffered some chest pain.
He was immediately shifted to ASCOMS Batra, where doctors declared him as brought dead.
The body of the golfer has been handed over to legal heirs after completing legal formalities.
Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
