Jagruk Hindustani Premier Volleyball League commences

SAMBA, May 13: Army after the successful conduct of the Phase-I of the Jagruk Hindustani Premier Volleyball League, the Phase-II commenced here in presence of Commander Samba Brigade Brigadier RS Rana, Dr DK Manyal, MLA Samba and Joginder Singh, SSP Samba.
It is worthwhile to mention that a total of eight best teams of the 64 teams who participated in Phase-I have been selected to compete. The 8 teams have been divided into two pools with Pool-A having Samba Daredevils, Hiranagar Hurricanes, RS Pura Tigers and Damana Sunrisers and Pool-B having Rajbagh Warriors, Kathua Janbaaz, BD Bari Jaguars, and Jammu Kings. The best two teams from each Pool will make it to the semi-finals and the winners of which will feature during the final scheduled on May 19.
During the inauguration ceremony, Commander Samba Brigade interacted with all the teams and complimented them on reaching till this stage and wished them good luck for the rest of the Tournament.
The first match was played between Samba Daredevils and Hiranagar Hurricanes, in which latter emerged as winner.
