JAMMU, May 17: To promote Sustainable Develop-mental Goals (SDGs) as mentioned in Agenda-2030 which was signed by UN member States in September last year, the two Gandhian societies namely Gandhian Global Family (GGF), J&K and Gandhi Peace Foundation (GPF), Jammu along with UNIC New Delhi have selected KC Public School, Jammu as nodal school which will take the responsibility of coordinating the implementation of the seventeen SDGs of UN in Jammu region.
The meeting in this regard was held in the premises of KC Public School, wherein the deliberations took place regarding the action plan to be drafted for the successful implementation of the SDGs.
Further, the process of identification of the 16 more schools each taking forward the action plan of one goal allotted to them will be completed by the end of this month.
