2nd District Jammu Choi Kwang Do Martial Art C’ship concludes

JAMMU, May 18: 2nd District Jammu Choi Kwang Do Martial Art Championship organized by Choi Kwang Do Martial Art Association of J&K concluded at Rotary Club Gandhi Nagar, in which more than 300 students from different schools of Jammu district participated.
On the valedictory function, Makson Tickoo, State vice president BJYM J&K was the chief guest, while Sanjay Kumar, Director Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti J&K and Brijesh Bhau, Chief Technical Director Tenshinkan Karate Do were the guests of honour.
Makson Tickoo distributed the medals among the winners and while speaking said that in this modern time learning martial art is very important for everyone.
The Gold medals were bagged by Krishna Kapoor, Khushpreet Kour, Kanishka, Krishansh, Gungun, Samiksh Sawhney, Saransh Manhas, Adwita Awasthi, Vaidhavi, Prajjwal Verma, Vedansh Gupta, Rudra Kohli, Harsirat Kour, Himan, Shubhgam, Satwik Tiwari, Luv Raina, Athrav Yashaswi, Gunika Raina, Anvi, Sashwat, Gundeep and Aadvay.
The Silver medals were clinched by Naitik, Aaradhy Gupta, Nupur, Kartik, Arav Jotshi, Karman Singh, Dipeesh Mahajan, Sanvi, Anvi, Rishi, Arnav, Aaruish Sharma, Sarthak Gupta, Shubhagam, Chahat, Samarth Jain, Vidit, Anshu, Aaradhaya, Jaanivika, Ritesh, Honey and Shreya.
The Bronze medals were secured by Daksh, Prince, Vidit, Tapasya Sharma, Avni Kapoor, Vartik, Ranvijay, Dhanvir, Taksheel, Rohan, Kartik, Prikshit, Samaksh, Madhvan, Anirudh Dubey, Parthivi, Aaral, Gundeep Singh, Pravit Bhagat, Rohit, Aahan Arora, Iqra, Kashvi, Sanvi and Angel Dubey.
The championship was organized under the presidentship of Naresh Chander.
Among others present were Manoj Mehra, Technical Director, CAJK, Ganesh Gupta, Shashi Janotra, Dinesh Kumar, Karan Kumar, Bhawna, Sheetal, Pawan Choudhary and Mofij Addin.
