JAMMU, Sept 18: Aditya Sharma, Sajal Kohli and Gourav Badgotra registered resounding victories over their rivals in the junior snooker category to move into the second round of the ongoing 22nd Jammu District Open Junior and Senior Billiards and Snooker Championship 2012, organized by the J&K Billiards and Snooker Association (JKBSA) at Billiards Hall MA Stadium, here.
Earlier, Aditya toppled Ashwani Sharma in two straight frames (2-0) by (55-47, 56-36), while Sajal got better of Kunal Rampal by (2-1) with the final scores reading (47-04, 23-53 and 80-21) in favour of the former.
Meanwhile, in another match of the junior snooker category, Gourav Badgotra prevailed upon almost equally strong Vidyush Chowdhary by (2-1) in a tough contest by (39-67, 52-51 and 65-41).
Meanwhile, according to the organizers the remaining matches of the first round would be held from 1 pm onwards tomorrow.
