Youth Club Bhallessa pulls off Gwari Premier League Cricket Tourney

DODA, May 20: Youth Club Bhallessa lifted the trophy of Gwari Premier League Cricket Tournament by defeating its rival Faribiya Club Bhallessa in the final match.
The tournament was organized by Army unit based at Sohanda in coordination with Youth Club Bhallesa Cricket Committee. 114 Teams participated in tournament. The Tournament was inaugurated by Iqbal Batt (a local leader) on April 20.  Approximately, 30 Ex/present Ranji players played in the tournament.
The final match of the tournament was played today between Youth Club Bhallessa and Faribiya Club Bhallessa in which Youth Club Bhallessa emerged victorious and lifted the trophy.
The event was graced today by Commander from Rashtriya Rifles as chief guest besides officials from civil administration including SDM Gundoh, Dalmeer Hussain, SDPO Gundoh, BK Ganju and SHO Gundoh, Tariq Hussain.
The winning team was awarded a trophy and Rs 40,000 in cash while the runners up team was awarded a trophy and Rs 20,000. Outstanding players were awarded individual prizes and medals towards appreciation for their skill and enthusiasm.
