JAMMU, May 20: Group Centre CRPF, Kootah won the Handball competition while 76 Battalion CRPF emerged victorious in Kabaddi competition, organized by Group Centre (GC) CRPF, Kootah.
The opening ceremony of the competitions was held at Group Centre CRPF, Kootah at Nagrota. The competitions were inaugurated by SS Gil (PPMG), Commandant, Group Centre CRPF, Kootah.
Total 14 teams participated in the Handball and Kabaddi competitions. In the final match of the Handball competition, Group Centre CRPF, Kootah thrashed 126 Battalion CRPF while in Kabaddi competition, 76 Battalion CRPF beat 160 Battalion CRPF.
In the closing ceremony of the tournaments, SSGill, (PPMG) Commandant, Group Centre CRPF, Kootah, distributed trophies and prizes to winning and runner up teams.
