UDHAMPUR, May 20: Eight students were injured when their school bus skidded off the road and met with an accident at Battal Morh on Mansar road, here today.
The injured students of Bawara School Manwal were shifted to Mansar hospital where doctors refereed four of them to GMC Hospital Jammu. The school bus, bearing registration number JK14C-4996, was on way from School at Manwal to Mansar when it met with the accident.
The injured students were identified as Mohd. Aftab (9), son of Mohd Rafaqat of Chorwah, Mohd Fayzan (11) son of Mohd Fiaz of Chorwah, Ankit (10) son of Ashok Kumar of Mansar, Piha Sharma (12), daughter of Keshav Sharma of Mansar, Akhilesh Sharma (7) son of Sunil Sharma of Mansar, Aditi Sharma (5) daughter of Rakesh Kumar of Mansar, Sachin Kumar (4) son of Daleep Kumar of Mansar and Tanuj Atri (4) son of Pawan Kumar of Mansar.
Condition of all the injured students, including those referred to GMC Jammu, was stated to be stable.
