DODA, May 28: Three wickets haul by Kewal Kotwal and 33 runs by Uttam Thakur helped Doda Super Kings to register win over New Siraj Doda in the ongoing All India 12th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship, being organized by Young Star Cricket Club Doda and sponsored by J&K Bank and Rashtriya Rifles Battalion Doda at Sports Stadium here.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Doda Super Kings set a target of 150 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 17 overs. Uttam Thakur and Vinay Manhas were the highest scorers with 33 and 27 runs respectively.
From New Siraj Doda side, Mehran Ganai scalped 3 wickets, while Noushair Batt took 1 wicket.
In the second inning, New Siraj Doda failed to chase the target and bundled out at 113 runs in 16 overs. Sameer Sheikh was the top scorer with 16 runs, while Shakeel made 15 runs.
From Doda Super Kings, Kewal Kotwal was wrecker-in-chief with 3 wickets while as Rohan Koul took 2 wickets.
Kewal Kotwal of Doda Super Kings team was declared as Man of the Match, who was given prize by Captain Sangram of 10 RR, who was chief guest on the occasion.
The match was officiated by Munish Zutshi and Bharat Jojoriya as umpires, while Rinku Bhaduria acted as scorer and Ashok Sharma (Video Analyst) was third umpire.
