JAMMU, May 30: Haryana wrestler Som Bir defeated wrestler Abdul Gani of Mallerkotla, Punjab and clinched the title of 8th Annual Battal Ballian Dangal, organized by Pir Baba Dangal Committee Battal Ballian in collaboration with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association at Battal, district Udhampur.
Former MoS and MLA Udhampur Pawan Kumar Gupta was the chief guest on the occasion who distributed cash prizes among the wrestlers in presence of President J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association Shiv Kumar Sharma, Retd SP Prithvi Raj Sharma, Retd Colonel Balwant Singh, Social Activists and Wrestling Promoters Ram Paul Sharma and Raj Kumar Buccha, Parsotam Singh, Sarpanch Rehmat Ali, Naresh Kumar, Munna Khan, SHO Udhampur OP Chib, Om Parkash Verma and Satish Kumar.
