Retiring officers given warm send-off

JAMMU, May 31: Jammu and Kashmir Grameen Bank accorded warm and affectionate send-off to Ravinder Kaul, Senior Manager, Head Office, who retired after putting in over 30 years service to the Bank.
Chairman of the bank Rajesh Kumar Chhibber, while speaking on the occasion hailed the contribution of the retiring officer towards bank at various operational levels.
Meanwhile, Dr Showkat Ali Zargar, Director, SKIMS and ex-officio secretary to the Government was given a warm send-off on completion of his tenure by Faculty Forum of SKIMS today.
Prof Altaf Umar Ramzan, executive secretary, Faculty Forum, SKIMS, felicitated the outgoing Director and hailed his contributions. He said Dr Zargar will be remembered as great builder who strengthened the institute and appreciated his exemplary work.
Jammu University Non-Teaching Employees Union accorded warm send-off to Ramesh Chander Gupta, Deputy Registrar, Sat Pal Sharma, Senior PA, Naveen Chander Sharma, Sr PA, Shamsher Singh, Section Officer, Mohd Azam, Head Assistant and Sat Pal Verma, Tech Officer who retired after attaining age of superannuation today. President of the union, Pawan Singh hailed the contribution of the retiring officers.
Mr Gurbachan, Lab Attendant, Department of Botany, University of Jammu, was accorded a warm and affectionate farewell on his retirement from services today. He was wished a happy and healthy life after retirement by all those present on the occasion.
