JAMMU, June 1: Bishnah police arrested a notorious criminal, who was evading his arrest for the past several years.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bishnah police station conducted raid and nabbed a notorious criminal, who was at large since 2014.
The accused has been identified as Vipan Kumar, son of Bua Ditta, a resident of Bishnah.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 66/14 under Section 3/25 and 4/25 Arms Act with police station Bishnah.
The accused was involved in over dozen cases registered with different police stations in Samba and Jammu districts.
Further questioning of the accused is going on.
Police team led by SHO Bishnah police station Inspector Paramjit Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Harjeet Singh and SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal.
