MENDHAR, June 1: A soldier was injured in an accidental fire at a forward location in Balakote area of Mendhar in district Poonch this evening.
Police sources said that Naik Rajan Kumar of 15 Bihar Regiment, received bullet injury on neck as his gun went-off accidentally. He was rushed to nearby unit hospital and then referred to Military Hospital Rajouri. His condition was said to be serious.
