DODA, June 1: Two days Inter Coy Volleyball Championship organized by IRP-5th Battalion Beoli concluded.
The final match was played between Hqrs Coy and D Coy of the Unit. Hqrs Coy team won the championship by 3-1 sets. Sgct Farooq Ahmad of Hqrs Coy was declared as best player of the tournament.
In the concluding speech, Commandant of the unit Mohammad Arif Rishu stressed that sports activities will be executed at each coy Hqrs regularly during leisure time to keep the jawans fit and stress free.
He further said that best players will be given an opportunity to participate in Inter Battalion Sports Meet-2016 and higher platforms as well.
Later, trophies were distributed among the winning and runner-up teams, best player and referees.
The tournament was organized by a Committee headed by Shiv Kumar Singh Chouhan, SP (Quarter Master of the unit) and Ranjit Singh, SP (Adjutant of the unit).
