LEH, June 2: Anil Kishora, Chief General Manager, State Bank of India Chandigarh Circle, concluded his high profile visit to Leh and Kargil districts.
During his visit, the CGM visited all the branches of the Ladakh Division right from Drass in the Kargil District to Tangste Branch in the Leh District. During the visit, several delegations called on him with their demands. The CGM gave instant instructions to Branch Heads of the division to give a boost to the economic development of the area by financing liberally in all sectors of economy.
He also held various detailed discussions with the Branch Heads regarding business development, customer service and implementation of technological initiatives of the bank. He appreciated the efforts of the branch heads and staff for their best performance despite working under hard weather conditions and connectivity problems. He also agreed to the demand of Army and local population for opening of new branch at Partapur, Nubra.
The CGM was accompanied by A K Razdan, Regional Manager RBO-5 Jammu, who gave him the insight of the business scenario of the bank in these remote districts.
