JAMMU, June 3: Inter School, District and Zonal Level Competitions, organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports held at different venues.
JAMMU: Inter School District Level Competitions in the disciplines of Badminton, Table-Tennis and Chess for under-14 and 17 girls gets underway at MA Stadium Indoor Complex.
In under-14 Badminton (quarterfinals), DPS beat APS Miran Sahib by 2-0 sets, MIER thrashed Presentation Convent by 2-1 sets and APS Kaluchak smashed GGMS Gorkha Nagar by straight 2-0 sets.
In under-14 Chess, Arushi Kotwal of BSF beat Rashi Anthal of BSF in summit clash and emerged winners.
In under-17 Table Tennis, Presentation Convent emerged winner in the final match by defeating GD Goenka.
REASI: District Level-Inter School Fencing Championship for under-14 and 17 boys and girls held at Amba Kids Home Panthal.
In under-14 Epee (Girls), Gold medal was secured by Saima of AKH Panthal, Silver medal by Pragya of AKH Panthal and Bronze medal was shared by Meenakshi of TSN Reasi and Arushi of AKH Panthal, whereas in Sabre (girls), Shahida Akhter of AKH Panthal and Kajal Devi of AKH Panthal secured Gold and Silver medals, while the Bronze medal was shared by Vidhi Sharma of TSN Reasi and Shruti of AKH Panthal.
In under-14 Foil (boys), Bahart Dogra of Presentation Convent Reasi and Javed of Amba Kids Home Panthal clinched Gold and Silver medals respectively, while Akshay of Amba Kids Home Panthal and Mohit of HSS Salal shared Bronze medal.
In under-14 Epee (boys), Gold medal was claimed by Ajay Kumar Chalotra of HSS Salal and Silver medal by Devinder Kumar of Amba Kids Home Panthal, while Bronze medal was shared by Mukesh Kumar of Amba Kids Home Panthal and Ashish Sharma of Amba Kids Home Panthal.
In under-14 Sabre (boys), Gold medal was clinched by Narinder Kumar of Amba Kids Home Panthal, while the Silver medal was secured by Muzaffar Ahmed of Amba Kids Home Panthal. The Bronze medal was shared by Abhishek of Amba Kids Home Panthal and Adetya Singh of Amba Kids Home Panthal.
In under-17 Foil (boys), Gold medal was clinched by Parshant Chib of Boys HSS Reasi and Silver medal by Vansh Sharma of Presentation Convent Reasi. Bronze medal was shared by Gourav of HSS Arnas and Aakash Sharma of TSN Reasi.
In under-17 Epee (boys), Vikas Kumar of Bharatiya Vidhya Mandir Reasi and Mayank Kapoor of Presentation Convent Reasi clinched Gold and Silver medals respectively, while the Bronze medal was shared by Parvinder Sharma of Presentation Convent Reasi and Nitin Sharma of HSS Boys Reasi.
In under-17 Sabre (boys), Gold medal was clinched by Ajay Singh of TSN Reasi, while Silver medal was bagged by Akshat Sharma of Gurukul Public School Reasi. The Bronze medal was shared by Ishwar of HSS Panthal and Mukesh of HSS Panthal.
In under-17 Foil (girls), Gold medal was bagged by Vishali Bral of Girls HSS Reasi, while Silver medal was clinched by Aanshika Bandral of HSS Panthal. Pallvi of Girls HSS Reasi and Sunali Mugal of HSS Panthal shared Bronze medal.
In under-17 Epee (girls), Pihul Rajput of HSS Panthal and Shakti Pooja of Girls HSS Reasi secured Gold and Silver medals respectively, while Riya Manhas of HSS Panthal and Vanshika Bandral of HSS Panthal shared Bronze medal.
In under-17 Sabre (girls), Gold medal was clinched by Simran Thakur of Girls HSS Reasi, while Silver medal was bagged by Ayushi Rajput of HSS Panthal. The Bronze medal was shared by Shivasni Sharma of HSS Panthal and Roshani Devi of HSS Panthal.
SAMBA: Inter Zone District Level Competition for under-14 and 17 boys held at Arazi Samba Stadium.
In under-14 Kabaddi final, Samba registered win over Vijaypur by 12 points, whereas in Volleyball final, Purmandal lost to Vijaypur by 2-1 sets and in Kho-Kho final, Samba thrashed Vijaypur by 13 points.
In under-17 Kabaddi final, Purmandal lost to Samba by 19 Points, whereas in Volleyball final, Ramgarh registered win over Purmandal by 2-1 sets and in Kho-Kho final, Samba crushed Vijaypur by 6 points.

In under-14 Shot Put (boys), Saif Ali of MS Dhanna, Haneef Ali of MS Chack Drab Khan and Deepak Lalotra of MS Sallan secured first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-14 Discus Throw (boys), Lalit Sharma of HS Kadyala, Aman Singh of MS Ladoli and Rahul Kumar of HS Khanpur bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-14 Javelin (boys), Rahul Kumar of HS Khanpur, Daleep Singh of MS Bagial and Shiv Kumar of MS Chack Deas Singh clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-14 Long Jump (boys), Vipan Kumar of MS Kootah, Maskin Ali of MMS Hiranagar and Vijay Kumar of MS Parole bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
