JAMMU, June 4: MLA, Jammu East, Rajesh Gupta inaugurated the construction work of the lane of Mohalla Jatkatian, Lakhdata Bazar in Ward No 5, here today.
The work of the lane is being undertaken by JMC and is estimated to cost rupees 4.11 lakhs. The officials who accompanied the MLA were XEn Joginder Singh and JE RK Koul.
Rajesh Gupta, who has also been entrusted the responsibility of the chief whip of the party in the Assembly, on the occasion, said that all issues related to the welfare of the people are being taken up in the Assembly in a vigorous manner.
He said that the issues of Jammu in general and Jammu East in particular would be taken up in the coming days.
“The issues related to the development of Mubarak Mandi heritage project and also the development of Parks and Gardens have also been raised in the Assembly in a forceful manner”, Gupta said, adding in the days to come the issues related to large scale unemployment amongst the youth of Jammu region would be raised in the Assembly.
