UDHAMPUR, June 5: Monthly meeting of All J&K ReT Teachers’ Forum  was held here today wherein issues related to ReT teachers were discussed in detail.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Lekh Raj Parihar, district president,  who appealed the Director School Education Jammu to issue regularisation orders of the ReTs whose objections have been cleared and the files are in the Directorate for a long time.
Parihar also appealed the Govt to regularise the ReTs with distance mode degrees and having less enrolment.   He raised the issue of streamlining of SSA salary,  which is still pending for the last 4 to 5 months and the family members of these teachers are living in miserable conditions. Even pay arrears of regularised ReTs and EVS are also pending for the period from 1 to 2 years, he added and  appealed the Government to find a permanent solution of SSA salary.
The  ReT Forum also urged the Education Department to publish the list of fake study centres being run in and outside the State and then take the decision of screening test.
The meeting was attended by a large number of delegates of all the 11 zones of the district and also State vice president Bhupinder Singh.
