Campus placement drive concludes at North Polytechnic

JAMMU, June 11: In the major ongoing campus placement drive held in North Polytechnic, Purkhoo Camp, Domana, number of students from different branches of Diploma in Engineering got shortlisted for training and subsequent placement in multinational companies.
Accenture Private Limited and Vision India Private Limited selected students of Computer, IT and Electronics and Communication Departments, IL & FS Skills Private Limited selected students of Electrical, E&C, Mechanical and Civil Departments, CIPET (Central Institute of Plastic Engineering Technology) Jaipur selected students of Mechanical Department.
Earlier, 16 students from IT, Computer and Electronic Communication Departments got selected in Roman Technologies Private Limited, Bangalore.
These students were interviewed by Meenakshi, HR Manager, Roman Technologies after getting shortlisted for interview. The selected students were given offer letters on the spot.
Three students from Mechanical Department got selected in JREW Engineering Limited Company, Chandigarh. Prolific Private Limited Company, Mumbai also visited college campus for the students of Electrical and Mechanical branches.
While speaking, Er Ajay Jamwal, Dean (Adm.) cum Training and Placement said that this placement drive is culmination of 3-years hard work of faculty and students to shape their future. The students during their studies are made to participate in various student centered activities, debates, seminars and group discussion in addition to their usual academic sessions.
He further asserted that many more multinational companies like INTEX Industries, Sudhir Genset, etc are expected to come for campus placement in college campus.
Management, Prof KR Sharma, Principal, North Polytechnic and faculty members wished the students a successful and prosperous future ahead.
