DODA, June 21: Thathri Development Front (TDF) has alleged that poor public infrastructure in erstwhile Doda district in general and Thathri Sub-Division in particular is mocking at the slogans of equitable development by the successive Governments at a time when the district is contributing over Rs 7300 crore to the State exchequer every year.
The TDF president Kuldeep Kumar Rao, senior vice president Kanwar Jeet Singh Thakur and general secretary Om Raj Bhall and others demanded separate Tourism Development Authority for sub division Thathri, to tap the virgin tourist places of the area.
They said the area also deserves district status and separate assembly constituency as it has vast area and comprises of five tehsils.
