JAMMU, June 21: Thieves decamped with Rs 7 lakh cash from a house in Salathia Mohalla, falling under the jurisdiction of Nagrota police station.
As per police sources, during the intervening night of June 20 and 21, thieves barged into the house of Dushyant Singh, son of Buddhi Singh of Salathia Mohallah, Nagrota and decamped with Rs 7 lakh cash.
After witnessing the theft, the house owner reported the matter to police.
A case under FIR Number 132/16 under Section 457 and 380 RPC has been registered at Nagrota police station and manhunt has been launched to nab the thieves.
However, no arrest was made till last reports were compiled.
