DODA, June 21: Three persons were killed, while another received injuries, when the Eco car they were traveling in, skidded off the road and plunged into Raggi Nallah near Khellani, here today.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK017-3619, was on its way to Kishtwar from Jammu, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it plunged into Raggi Nallah near Khellani, this evening, resulting into on the spot death of three persons and injuries to another.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured person identified as Mohammad Farooq of Malwana, district Doda to District Hospital Doda, where he was undergoing treatment, when reports last came in.
The deceased have been identified as Zakir Hussain, son of Gulam Hussain of Hanch Dharra, district Doda, Imtiyaz Ahmed (driver), son of Abdul Kareem Zargar of Bhagna Naag Saini, district Kishtwar and Mushtaq Ahmed, son of Mohammad Shafi of Ganika, district Doda.
A case in this regard has been registered at Doda police station and investigation started.
