RAMBAN, July 3: A blood donation camp was organized today here at Batote by Sant Nirankari Mission.
The camp was inaugurated by MLA Ramban, Neelam Langeh, in the presence of many Nirankari and prominent people of Batote. BP Singh, zonal incharge of zone- 1A of Nirankari Mission was also present throughout the camp.
During the camp, 126 Nirankari volunteers donated the blood for the welfare of human beings. The camp was organized in collaboration with District Red Cross Society, Ramban and AIDS control Board, Jammu and the blood units were collected by a team of expert doctors and staff of Government Medical College, Jammu.
Speaking on the occasion, Langeh said that donating blood is equal to saving a life. He encouraged the donors to donate their blood at regular intervals of time for the service of mankind.
