DODA, Sept 22: In its efforts to channelize the energy of youth in sports and Nation building activities, 33rd Bn CRPF organized an Intra – District Volleyball Tournament at Govt. Hr. Sec. School (Boys) Bhaderwah under the supervision of CO 33rd BN CRPF A.K Singh which culminated here today.
District Development Commissioner, Doda, Farooq Ahmed Khan was the chief guest on the occasion while CO 33rd BN CRPF A.K Singh presided over the final match of the tournament.
As many as, 8 teams from across the erstwhile district Doda participated in the event and , Bhaderwah team A defeated Bhaderwah youth team B in a scintillating match which kept the spectators spell bound.
Speaking on the concluding ceremony, CO A.K Singh said that the main aim behind such events is to channelize the energy of youth towards sports and nation building activities and provide them a platform to show their talent and ability.
Later, the DDC spoke on the occasion and distributed prizes among the winners and runner up teams.
ASP Bhaderwah R.R Bhagat, SDM Bhaderwah Dr. R.K Bharti, CPO Doda Dr. yassir Balwan, ACR Doda Neeraj Kumar , Deputy Commandant 33rd BN CRPF Durabar Singh besides Tehsil officers were present on the occasion.
