Jammu, July 7: To encourage the young swimmers to raise their standard of performance at competitive level, a swimming competition was organized in KC Sports Club today in which many young swimmers took part with great enthusiasm.
To accommodate as many swimmers as possible, heats were conducted to select the best swimmers on time basis in different Age groups. Finally, the best of them vied with each other for the position of the winner.
In the final event conducted on free style of swimming, in Girls category, Katyani grabbed the first position in a nearly photo finish situation while Gurkirav Kour stood second and Samiya Singh stood third.
In Boys category, Sidhi Vinayak stood first, Adhyan Angral stood second and Sulakh Mehta stood third.
