JAMMU, July 13: Over 100 candidates were shortlisted for jobs during a mega job fair titled ‘Rozgar’ organized today by Vision India Services Pvt Ltd in Women’s Polytechnic Jammu.
India’s leading corporate organizations across industries participated in the event directly interacting with the candidates and hiring for different profiles in HR, Sales, Marketing, Customer Care, Engineering and BPO. Five clients travelled from Chandigarh and Delhi to Jammu for this event.
Over 200 candidates walked in for this job drive and they applied for over 1000 positions available during the day. Hundreds of interviews happened, which resulted in 100 plus people getting shortlisted for jobs. Some were shortlisted on the spot while the others will be called for final negotiations to the company’s office
“The candidates who could not make it to selection in this drive would be offered an opportunity to skill-up themselves through an absolutely free 6-months residential training under the project ‘UDAAN’ by Vision India, which is the largest training partners for NSDC UDAAN. We will also try to organize one job fair every month in J&K region”, said Sumit Saxena, GM, Employability, Vision India.
