JAMMU, July 13: Baloria XI crushed KC Sports Club and made it to the quarterfinals of the ongoing Jammu Tawi Summer T-20 Premier League, being organized by Jammu Tawi Sports Club at GGM Science college hostel ground, here today.
Batting first, KC Sports Club made 139 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Ateev was the top scorer with 43 runs, while Rohan and Arjun chipped in 37 and 27 runs respectively.
From Baloria XI side, Satish scalped 2 wickets, while Rohit, Vishwajeet and Sahil took one wicket each.
In the second inning, Baloria XI chased the target by losing 5 wickets in 19.2 overs and entered in the quarterfinal stage of the tourney. Paras chipped in magnificent half century and remained not out, while Raman and Manish made 19 and 17 runs respectively.
From KC Sports Club side, Rocky, Aman, Ankush and Vivek clinched one wicket apiece.
Paras Sharma of Baloria XI was adjudged as Man of the Match.
The match was officiated by Sadiq Hussain Malik and Madan Lal, while Vinod Kandyara maintained the scorecard.
