School Education Officers highlight demands

JAMMU, July 15 School Education Officers Association has appealed the Education Minister Naeem Akhter and Commissioner Secretary School Education to personally intervene for settlement of their issue.
A meeting of the association was held today under the chairmanship of president S Paramjit Singh and discussed various confronting the School Education Officers. They highlighted their issues and demands, which include regularization of Incharge officers, treating their service during vacation as non-vocational, removal of pay anomalies, change of nomenclature of Headmaster to Principal Secondary School, increase in the number of posts of Senior Headmasters, sanctioning of new posts of ZEPOs etc.
Those who attended the meeting included S Kulwant Singh Himmat Raj, Bachan Lal, H D Sharma, Behari Lal, Jagmohan, Ramesh Chander, Kasturi Lal and others.
