Situation in Kashmir goes worse due to mishandling of Govt: YNC

JAMMU, July 18: Youth National Conference (YNC) today lambasted the J&K Government for mishandling the unrest in Kashmir due to which, it said, the situation has turned worse from bad.
Addressing the workers of Youth National Conference here today at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan, Jammu, YNC president, Jammu province, Ajaz Jan, said that PDP-BJP coalition Government in the State has mishandled the unrest in Kashmir as a result of which there is complete mistrust among people in the Government.
He also lambasted the Government for imposing restrictions on media, saying that it is not a part of democracy and is also a sign of failure of the PDP- BJP Government. He also criticized Government for snapping internet, mobile and even landline services in Kashmir, alleging that students as well as tourists are facing various hardships due to this move of the Government.
“People of Kashmir are facing lot of problems due to non- availability of basic amenities like, food, water, electricity and medicines and on ground Government is nowhere in Jammu and Kashmir, he added. Jan also attacked the Government for its failure to put proper arrangements in place for Amarnath Yatris.
Earlier, Jan after approval from party patron Farooq Abdullah, Omar Abdullah and Devender Rana, nominated Mati Ur Rehman as district president, Youth Rajouri. He also nominated Mohinder Singh Charak as provincial secretary, Jammu province, Balbeer Singh Sambyal as joint secretary, Jammu province, Waqor Lone as secretary, Imran Goni as vice president of Jammu province, Rajeshwar Singh as provincial secretary, Jammu province and Tajinder Pal Singh as provincial secretary, Jammu province.
