All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers’ Forum projects demands

UDHAMPUR, July 18: The monthly meeting All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers’ Forum was held under the chairmanship of its District Udhampur President Ashok Sharma.
In the meeting, the speakers demanded uploading of the service particulars of all incharge incumbents on the official website of the Department and speeding up the process of regularisation of incharge incumbents so that they can see their particulars and apply for correction, in case their particulars are wrong.
They demanded implementation of transfer policy in toto and transfers be effected only during summer and winter breaks, issuance of transfer orders on the spot in transfer melas, posting of teaching staff on the basis of the strength and subjects need of the schools, recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission be implemented in the State at the earliest, before withholding the annual increments of Principals/lecturers for low result percentage the factors such as shortage of staff and lack of infrastructural facilities in the educational institutions should be taken into consideration, internal upgradation of the grade pay of Lecturers in Physical Education as per SRO 225 of 2005 and their regularization pending since 2008.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Sharma urged the Government to include the far flung areas of Udhampur district such as Basantgarh-Khaned and Damnote- Lander in zone III on the analogy of zone Mahore of Reasi district and transfer the lecturers to their home localities after one year of tenure in the said schools as per the transfer policy.
He also demanded creation of the post of Vice Principal in Government Higher Secondary Schools for streamlining the system of education, benefit of running pattern, restoration of 40 per cent promotional quota, enhancement in the grade pay of Principals, JKBOSE should clear the pending bills of the supervisory staff, introduce the process of online submission of the examination forms of private candidates of 10th and 12th classes and supply question papers at the exam centre itself.
