This has reference to the article ‘Why South Kashmir has emerged as hub of new militancy’ published in this paper some days back.
The author has given a graphic picture of these developments in the Valley. The situation needs serious consideration by the State and Central Governments. The Defense Ministry must study the implications of the present situation seriously. Besides, the policy regarding rehabilitation of surrendered militants needs to be scrapped.
