JAMMU, July 25: Vision Kashmir in a meeting here today under the chairmanship of Sunil Fotedar has accused the State and Central Governments for hoodwinking the over-aged displaced youth.
He said the over-aged displaced youth are worst sufferers of the turmoil and in case their problem was not attended by the government they will be forced to come to streets.
While criticizing the State Government he said it is more interested in rehabilitating those youth who took to arms than the nationalist youth in the State who are victims of the turmoil.
Fotedar demanded immediate announcement of an economic package for the over-aged youth of the displaced community and a compensation of Rs 25 lakh be given to them without any constraints so that they can start their own business.
He also demanded enhancement of cash assistance to Rs 5000 per soul in view of sky rocketing prices of essential commodities.
