2 day photo exhibition on dilapidated temples of Kashmir at Haridwar

HARIDWAR, Aug 1: A two day long photo exhibition on the dilapidated temples of Kashmir was held in Hardiwar. The exhibition was specially organized for the Kawaris visiting the holy city by RESCUE NGO.
Being the peak Kawar season, 60 lakh devotees visited Haridwar on these two days.More than 5 thousand Kawaris visited the site of the Exhibition and expressed their solidarity as well as concern for the Kashmiri Hindus and temples of Kashmir.
Most of the Kawaris were surprised and shocked to see the condition of the temples and they pledged their support in renovating some of the prominent temples of Kashmir.
The venue of the Exhibition was Tripura Temple, Main Delhi-Haridwar Bypass road, Kankhal. The Organising team consisting of Sandeep Raj Koul, Manish Zijoo, Vinod Koul, Akhil Koul and Vishal Sharma complimented the devotees and visitors whole heartedly. The Exhibition was supported by AIKS and APMCC too.
The Hardiwar photo exhibition culminated with the organizing team getting the blessings of Jagadguru Shankaracharya swroopanandji Maharaj.
The team also apprised the Jagadguru about the condition of our KP brethren who are agitating against the atrocities committed against them by the mob of a particular community in view of Burhaan Wani’s death. The team also apprised him that KP employees want to get resettled at Jammu as Government failed to give them protection.
He has extended his support to KP employees agitating at Jammu.
