5 wkts haul by Sahil Dhar helps OCC to register berth in final

JAMMU, Aug 2: Magnificent five wickets haul by Sahil Dhar helped Oriental Cricket Club (OCC) to smash Jehlum Cricket Club (JCC) by 8 wickets and to register berth in the final of the ongoing 1st KPL Pink Ball Cricket Tournament, being organized by Krish Sports and Event at KC College ground, here today.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, JCC scored paltry 67 runs for all out in 17.5 overs. Amil Koul and Inder Prakash scored 9 runs each.
From OCC side, Sahil Dhar was wrecker in chief, who took 5 wickets while Vicky Raina scalped 4 wickets.
In the second inning, OCC chased the target in 8 overs for the loss of only 2 wickets. Chander was the top scorer with 17 runs, while Vikas made 15 runs.
From JCC side, Sanjay Raina took 2 wickets.
Sahil Dhar of OCC was adjudged as Man of the Match.
The match was officiated by Rakesh and Sunny as umpires, while Rehan Rana acted as scorer.
On the occasion, Brij Kishan Dulloo was the chief guest, who awarded the Man of the Match award to Sahil Dhar.
The tournament is being organized under the supervision of Sagar Sadhu, Ave Kachroo and Rehan Rana from Krish Sports and Event.
