New Star Cricket Club to lock horns with Oriental Cricket Club in final

JAMMU, Aug 3: New Star Cricket Club (NSCC) will lock horns with Oriental Cricket Club (OCC) in the final of the ongoing 1st KPL Pink Ball Cricket Tournament, being organized by Krish Sports and Event at KC Sports Club, here today.
Earlier in the second semifinal, New Star Cricket Club (NSCC) registered 7 wickets win over Sai Cricket Club (SCC) and sailed into final of the tournament.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, SCC scored 99 runs in 19.2 overs. Jhony scored 19 runs, while Arvind Bakshi made 18 runs.
From NSCC side, Vishal Kanth took 3 wickets and Puneet scalped 2 wickets.
In the second inning, NSCC chased the target in 14.3 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. Rahul Musa was the top scorer with 58 runs off 32 balls and remained not out, while Vishal Kanth chipped in 24 runs and remained not out.
From SCC side, Arvind Bakshi scalped 2 wickets, while Ashu claimed one wicket.
Vishal Kanth of NSCC was adjudged as Man of the Match.
The match was officiated by Rakesh and Sunny as umpires, while Rehan Rana acted as scorer.
On the occasion, Jagdish Raj was the chief guest, who presented the Man of the Match award.
The tournament is being organized under the supervision of Sagar Sadhu, Ave Kachroo and Rehan Rana from Krish Sports and Event.
