SAMBA, Aug 5: A dead body of male person was recovered from Mansar lake by police today.
According to Police the locals of the area saw a body of a male person floating in the lake this morning and they informed the local police about the same. The police swung into action and fished out the body form the lake.
He has been identified as Bikramjeet Singh S/o Bhagat Singh, of Kishtwar.
Later police took the body to District Hospital Samba for postmortem.
The police has yet to ascertain the cause of the death and it has started investigation. A case under relevant sections of the law was also registered by Mansar police.
