JAMMU, Aug 12: Inter School Zone Level Competitions in various disciplines, organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports were held at different venues.
HIRANAGAR: Inter Level Zone Level Tournament in the discipline of cricket for under-19 boys of Sallan, Marheen and Hiranagar zones concluded at Sports Stadium Hiranagar.
In the summit clash, GHSS Kootah smashed GHSS Sallan by 6 wickets and won the trophy. Earlier in the first semi-final, GHSS Kootah outplayed Infant Jesus HSS Hiranagar by 6 wickets, whereas in the second semis, GHSS Hiranagar lost to GHSS Sallan by 20 runs.
BILLAWAR: Inter School Zone Level Tournament in the discipline of Kabaddi for under-19 boys was held at Naz Ground, here. In the competition, GHSS Parnalla defeated GHSS Bhaddu by 15 points and won the trophy.
